Motorists complained about the lack of signaling in the intervention carried out by the Pernambuco Sanitation Company (Compesa) on Mario Rodrigues Avenue, at the entrance of the Rio Corrente neighborhood, in the West Zone of Petrolina. The company clarified that the closure of the stretch was necessary for emergency maintenance work.
The road closure occurred to repair a leak identified this Thursday (18). In a statement, Compesa informed that the area around the intervention “is properly signposted” and that the demand was communicated to the municipal traffic authority (AMMPLA). Furthermore, the Company also informed that the work is expected to be completed later this week.
